Bishop Angelo Rosario, Chief Executive Director of the Bronx Clergy Task Force, Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrión, Jr., and a host of community businesses and community organizations are hosting the Second Annual Placement, Training and Educational Fair in the Bronx, on Friday, January 13, 2006, (snow date is Friday, January 20, 2006) from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, at the Co-op City Auditoriums A, B & C, located at 177 Dreiser Loop, Bronx, NY 10475.
Ample parking is available at the College of New Rochelle School of New Resources parking lot at Co-op City Boulevard.
An estimated combination of 500 companies, training and educational organizations, targeted for representation, will have their Human Resource personnel on hand with job openings and education training opportunities. The Job Fair is free to the public and is open to all Bronx residents who are seeking employment or are looking for an opportunity to better themselves and their families.
The Job Fair will be informative and filled with activities that will benefit job seekers. It will bring Bronx residents together for a day to celebrate their success and achievements. We need to enhance the growth of the Bronx as a community in which we can raise safe, healthy and successful families. Plan to attend the Job Fair, be dressed for an interview and come with an abundance of résumés in hand.
