Welcome to the Brooks Preservation Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit all volunteer group dedicated to the preservation of historic structures and railroading in Waldo County Maine. The group’s charter includes restoring the historic Brooks Railroad station as well as promoting railroading along the Belfast and Moosehead Lake railroad corridor. To support the later, the group has formed the Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railway as a tourist railroad offering excursions late spring through fall.

This group is meant to enhance communication within the organization. Since we have members all over the world and events move rapidly this is another tool for the members to stay informed.
