Hi!
Would appreciate if some one can pl help me with the following:
I had paid Rs 50,000 as one time maintenance deposit to the builder
when I bought my flat .This was then subsequently transferred to the
housing society.
Now I have sold my house and this deposit has got transferred in the
name of the buyer automatically .
Can this amount be taken in "Cost of acquisition" and indexation
benefit availed on the same.?
Is there any relevant section/ case law which would help to answer
this.
