SERVICE TAX ON RENT QUERY

Dear Members,

A co-op society collects commercial rent of Rs. 10,30,000 p.a.

Municipal taxes paid Rs. 1,10,000/-

My query is

Limit of 10lacs is to be considered after deducting Mun. tax?

1030000-110000=920000

So should the society collect service tax and pay the same or only registration is required.
