This group is for Capital Region New York Residents. This is defined as those living within a 50 mile radius of Albany New York. This is the group to trade tangible items or barter business services. Some examples maybe you are an auto mechanic who needs a refrigerater. Here you can post a wanted and post what you are willing to trade, as well as post what you have to see what people offer.

If you have a service or am item to offer, please post it like this: In the subject line type Offer: then the item in the body of the message write what you are seeking in return, or leave it open to see what interesting items you are offered.

If you are looking for a specific item or service please post Wanted then the item or service. In the body discuss the specifics such as if you are willing to pay for needed supplies, and what you can offer.

Once you have either received and item or have given a service please post with either Given and the item or Received and then the item. This will help other members know when something is gone, and will help give other people ideas.

There are currently 3 databases set up. Please post to the appropriate table. If you are a business or offer a service post in the first table, if you are looking to trade one item for another there is a table for that as well.

The database is a nice tool to quickly glance at rather than having to go through all the messages when you looking for something specific.

This group was just started on the 12th and already has close to 50 members, pass the info along on the group.
