Senior Product Manager Job Description
Play a leadership role in the definition and development of the Enkata
talent management products.
* Work with Marketing and Engineering teams to identify and document
strategic directions for assigned product areas * Participate in
hands-on gathering and documentation of business requirements *
Create, coordinate and review the development of product specifications
and project plans, and product demonstrations * Coordinate the
efforts of documentation, training, and other teams using strong project
management practices for assigned products * Represent and
evangelize products in front of business and technical audiences
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of business experience, including at least 4 years
in a product management, business analysis, or related role (a mix of
technical and business experience would be ideal) * Experience with
call center, sales force management, or talent management products
required. * Knowledge of databases and data marts a plus. *
Strong technical background * Strong written and verbal
communications skills * Technical undergraduate degree and
master's degree (in technical or business field) preferred.
Solutions Marketing Manager Position Summary
This position is focused on developing and leading activities to define,
package, and develop new market opportunities for Enkata's
Operational Performance Management applications. Enkata's solutions
are used to manage and improve performance in both front-office and
back-office service operations, and includes elements of both product
and services, from Enkata and 3rd parties. This position plays a central
and critical role in growing Enkata's early success, and vertical
market strategies will be a critical requirement. This person will work
closely with the Executive Team, Consulting, Sales, Corporate Marketing,
and Engineering organizations, and reports to the Sr. Director,
Solutions Marketing.
Essential Functions of the job
This position will drive and own the development of new revenue
opportunities for Enkata through the definition of its applications.
Leveraging strengths both in consulting services and product breadth,
the position will be responsible for the creation of comprehensive
offerings that combine Enkata's intellectual property with that of
3rd parties where appropriate. Success will include development of
positioning and strategy for various vertical markets, with early focus
on Healthcare, Insurance, Telecommunications / Utilities, and Financial
Services.
Solution Planning / Inbound Marketing - 80% focus:
* Conduct industry, competitive, and customer research to identify
and target focused market opportunities. Clearly define and communicate
the opportunities and plans with Enkata personnel at all levels. *
Leverage relevant resources inside and outside the company to define
application workflow and management functions required solution. Align
application capabilities with industry solution requirements through the
creation of Market Requirements Documents. Manage market requirements
through entire development process from MRD through to solution general
availability. * Collaborate with appropriate resources to develop
demonstration storyboards, solution messaging, and positioning. Clearly
articulate value propositions in support of proposed solutions. *
Explore unique ways of delivering value while determining pricing and
positioning for the solution relative to the competition. Work directly
with key customers to validate and seed market opportunities.
Solutions Management and Evangelism / Outbound Marketing - 20% focus:
* Develop relationships with important industry luminaries, including
press and analysts. * Work with others across the company to create
and execute appropriate launch plans. * Development and roll-out of
sales education programs and materials for winning business in targeted
solution areas.
Qualifications (Skills, Training, Experiential, and Travel
Requirements):
Strong communication skills in both large and small groups will be
necessary. This position requires an individual who is self-motivating
and a natural leader. Success will depend on the ability to assertively
drive the organization in new directions.
Direct Experience: 6+ years experience in product or services marketing
and/or managing service-related products and services. Experience having
driven solutions from definition through release is required.
* Vertical industry marketing experience is required. Experience in
Healthcare Insurance or Telecom industries a definite plus. *
Experience authoring and delivering Market Requirements Documents to
development is a must. * Authoring MRD's where platform
technologies were applied to specific business problems via building
applications is highly desirable. * Must have direct and
demonstrable success in developing and bringing services-oriented
solutions to market. * Functional or marketing background in service
operations is strongly desired. * Experience in working with 3rd
parties in business development capacity. * Education: BS / BA is
required. MBA desirable. * Travel required 10%- 20% of time *
Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to communicate
effectively internally and with customers.

Account Manager/Director Position Summary
Enkata is searching for Account Managers/Directors for our Western,
Mid-West, and Northeast Territories that have enterprise level software
experience in contact center operations to assist us in our efforts to
aggressively increase our customer base. Primary responsibilities
include:
* Develops customer account strategies and tactical penetration
plans. * Develops new customer relationships. * Develops
compelling value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis. *
Executes against the major steps of the sales process:
* Find new business opportunities * Qualify new opportunities,
and * Close new business.
* Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty with
customers. * Manages details of account contacts through the entire
sales lifecycle process.
Qualifications
* Experience and success in selling high value, long lead time
enterprise solutions software ($500K and above). * Proven sales
quota attainment track record. * Proven new business development
skills. * Outstanding presentation, facilitation, communication and
negotiation skills. * Outstanding customer-focused Account
Management skills. * Demonstrated sales track record with Tier 1 and
Tier 2 Financial Services, Telecoms, High Tech, Utilities, and Retail
companies (8-10 years experience and above) is preferred. *
Knowledge and understanding of contact center pain points and related
cost drivers is preferred. * Demonstrated relationships with leading
system integrators. * High comfort level and presence with senior
executives. * Extensive travel required. * Bachelor's degree
or equivalent work experience required.
