Not sure why, but I was just thinking that working at Clarify in late
1995 was the best of times in regards to working anywhere at a job.
Working with Bonnie, Janet, Hollie, Karen, and Peter at the help desk
and sitting in our cubes as the phone rang, prior to any ACD was just
fun times. When it was your turn to answer the phone you did, and
when it wasn't your turn you were glad. I remember coming over from
HP where my employee number was in the 200,000 range and being
employee 50 something at Clarify. Sitting in a meeting with Don and
Bill D. as they argued about how to create a ClearBasic class and
hearing the f-bomb dropped was great. Watching Dave H. (in probably
the last time he ever wore a suit) come through the office for his
job interview, seeing Elaine on go public day as happy as I'd ever
seen a person, complaining to Chris L., learning a lot from Tim M.,
and being able to work with Stephanie, Rick, Bill, and the gang from
Dev Support was great.
I hope the new year finds all of you that I mentioned, and the many
others that I failed to mention, happy and healthy.
Best Regards,
Andy
