Ok, why do I not remember a single foul word from those days? I do
remember Senya's testing parties - who'd have thought QA could be so
much fun? Gosh, even the HP "report card" meetings bring a smile. None
of us were safe from being shot at from Don's office. And none of us in
sales were ever late to one of Bob's sales meetings. I never figured
out how to work those old Macs though.
Anyone remember Chris's great imitation of the Clarify Man, and of
course there's Elaine and her beanie when the new cubicle walls went
too high...
Great times and truly great people!

You bet. Though originally it was called "The Don Smith, Special
Achievement Award". Then Bob retired it and came up with "The Donald".
I should sue that Trump bastard.
-don
It was breaking news and the guy was frickin' quilty as a tight fitting
glove. BTW, I'm still giving classes on how to implement the DE if you
want to continue.
-don
OK, Tim was not actually chasing me with a nerf gun. He was simply
exercising his right to "bare arms" as well as getting a little much
needed exercise, because on the Basketball court he just stood around
waiting for some famed "No Look Pass" from Senya.
One other rumor I want to put to rest after ALL of these years, is that
the foot print (supposedly an actual dent or something) added to
Swalsh's car during a vollebal game, was actually Jim Gerber's foot.
NOT mine as has been widely claimed.
-don
too funny, do you remember the award we gave out called "The Donald" ?

Oh, first it's all about the F-bomb's I "supposedly" used to use. Now
my "Waggle" company name idea is getting dissed. Think of all the cool

Hey, I resemble that remark. I only remember dropping one F-bomb in my
entire life. So I'm not sure where my reputation comes from. I remember
an entire architecture video I did and did not swear once in it, I
think.
Good to hear from you Andy.
-don
Mashall/Bonnie,
Thanks for the great memories! I too miss leaning over the cubes asking Bon
Bon or Swalsh a question. I remember Don interrupting a user conference
session to announce the OJ verdict. My husband got to join in the late
night networked Doom playing. I miss all the endless supply of food in the
break room! Also Kevin "stinks like a rose" giving dev presentations at the
company meetings with fancy graphics that he created himself: :) and <o>
Remember decorating our cubes for Christmas? It was always the one with the
most lights that won! I miss endless sessions with Don trying to learn the
DE so I could teach it. He had endless patience!
Great times!
Jasmine Wevers
[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Definately the "best of times".... a few others along with that great hockey
game Bonnie mentioned.....Being interviewed by Alan Alexopolis and seeing Tim
come running by the conference room door with a nerf gun in pursuit of Don and
thinking "I really, really, want to work here!!", Playing networked "DOOM" at
12am with Stamm, Tim and John on a 4 way conf call discussing mutual
destruction. Volleyball on fridays in the parking lot. Clustering around a TV in
Don's office watching OJ Simpson run away in a white Bronco. White elephant
christmas exchanges. Mini pinball machine award rituals. Microsoft sales
cycle "hell week". Windows 95 launch. White water rafting. Somewhat fuzzy images
of many nights at the Hayes conference center. Senya's test parties. And
lastly, really cool nicknames like Noshitski and Upyourgundari!
Take care all,
Marshall
[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Those were fun days! Thanks for the memories, Andy and everyone. I'll never
forget a lot of those great times.
I'll never forget you, Jimmy, singing "Do Your Ears Hang Low" every day to your
baby on the phone.
One year, the entire company got to go to a Sharks game, we sat in the first
three rows. It changed my life, I'm now the biggest Sharks fan! Thanks to my
then newfound love of hockey, Swalsh introduced me to my husband, whom she had
taken a hockey class with.
I can't believe I now work at a software company where we record our customer
calls in Outlook (ugh!), and at first, put our bugs into the Task list. We have
advanced, we now are using a freeware system to track our bugs. Woo hoo.
-Bonnie
[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Fond memories indeed. You guys are making me homesick. IT
department was busy but fun. Two building moves and crazy employee
growth. Lots of change (including Mike Martin's hair) and good co-
worker rapport. Some of the best of times.

Hi all,
Watching an ad for Little People, Big World on cable channel TLC, I
heard the name Roloff and saw someone who looked a lot like this sales
engineer that worked at Clarify. I looked on the web and yes, it was
Matt Roloff! On his own TV show. Congrats, Matt!
