Roto-Brush duct cleaning machines   Message List

We own several of these machines, some from the late 90's and one
newer, all basically the same. I have found that, on heavier puff
backs, it is smarter for me to sub-contract the duct cleaning to
another local company, that uses truck mount equipment, rather than
deal with the insufficent decontamination that is consistant with one
of these machines. Of course when I sub it, I usually break even on the
cost, so it is not a sale worth selling seperately, but must be done
and done well, as part of an overall restorative cleaning service of an
entire home or busines. We have ended up actually dropping and
reinstalling the ducts (at no additional cost to the customer) to hand
clean them after use of the rotobrush. I have read all the ads, seen
some demonstrations, and am just not sure I should risk an investment
into such expensive truck mount equipment.
Are any of you using portable duct cleaning equipment that you believe
works well?
