Have your truck lettered professionally with a professional looking logo. Have all of your contact information on there. Telephone, email, website. Give people every possible opportunity to remember you.
Have a few thousand business cards printed up, again making sure your website and email are included. Leave them everywhere. Alot will be wasted, but some will end up in the hands of potential customers. Always have a supply of business cards with you.
Wear your Company Logo shirt, jacket, hat, etc. all the time. Have your company name and website screenprinted on the back of your shirts. Be as interactive with people in public as possible. Say Hi to anyone who looks at you, they may be looking for an invite to strike up a conversation about your service, but are too shy to start one.
When you do a job, drop a flyer at all of the houses on the block. It won't take all that much time considering you are already in the area. Something to the effect of "We just completed a job for one of your neighbors and would like the opportunity to provide a free estimate to you." Whatever wording you think will work, but you get the basic idea.
You could try Craig's List, but I have not had much luck there. Too many people are wary of Craig's List ads, but if you don't list, you are missing a potential opportunity.
Good Luck!!
Anyone with more ideas, I would also be interested.

Hello everyone,
My name is Jeff and I just recently joined this group. I've been
cleaning carpets, upholstery, tile and anything else in my way for 10
years. I just recently went out and purchased a truck mount and I am
now doing my best to find clients. Yellow book ads (small), postcards,
website, flyers etc are all being utilized but the outcome is minimal.
Any ideas would be great, especially for driving traffic to an
informational website about my company without spending fifty thousand
dollars.
Nice to meet you all,
Jeff
