1. Simply sign up and wait for you site to be approved by staff. Once approved your site will begin appearing in the rankings. You may place your code beforehand as the stats are already tracked at that point.
 
2. Sites are ranked on 3 separate categories. They are Page Views, Votes, and Visits.
 
Page Views: Number of times someone has loaded the page or pages on your site where the page view code is located. Only the unique page views are counted in the rankings system. However, All page view are tracked as an added bonus for your records.
 
Votes: This is the number of votes you site has received. You accumulate votes by placing the vote code on your site or giving the vote url to your users. They in turn click the link and vote for you site. Your only allowed to vote once per day.
 
Visits: This is the number of times a visitor to this site has seen you site listed and clicked the link to visit your site. This is a great indicator of how well your site is being displayed on the site and how well you are marketing your web site.
 
3. Most sites rank you by votes where we actually rank you by all categories and occasionally switch the default way we show your site when the main page is loaded. We may go by Page Views for a week then change it to Votes the next week. This way your site will get many people voting for it might get some main page time versus one that has a lot of visitors but they do not take the time to vote. We will even change the method to Visitors at times so the most popular sites visited get some time on top.
