Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) One of the important objectives of COMESA Organization is to encourage free movement of goods and services produced within COMESA Countries and to remove all tariffs and non-tariff barriers. So, we start this mailing list to help importers, exporters, manufacturers and agents in Comesa countries to exchange information. COMESA exists 'as an organisation of free independent sovereign states which have agreed to co-operate in developing their natural and human resources for the good of all their people'. With its 21 member states and population of 385 million it forms a major integrated trading block.
