Duke worked with me in Product development. He was one of the best
field engineers that I have work with. I depended on him for the
release and early maintenance of the 3690. When he was ill in the
early eighties I talked to Chuck Riley about his return and Chuck
said "If Duke back half as good as he was he will still be twice as
good as any else. He was a good friend and great worker and even at
this late date I will miss him.
