Dear Friends,

In July my son Nick was diagnosed with bone cancer. He has been
receiving chemotherapy since, and is not a candidate for surgery to
remove the cancer because it is so advanced. Children's Hospital
here in Minneapolis is coordinating proton beam radiation therapy in
Boston, and because it is "outpatient" therapy, the travel and
lodging costs are beyond our means.

In addition to the back surgery I had in 1995, I had another one
in 1999, and a 3 level lumbar spinal fusion in April of 2003. In
November of 2004 while out walking as part of my recovery, I was hit
by a car from behind, and am really messed up. Due to my physical
challenges, I lost my job in February this year, and am on
disability.

I would not normally trouble you with this request, but
literally have no options. If you are interested in donating to our
cause, we would be eternally in your debt. This is a private fund
raiser to save my son's life - simple as that. Please send
