Dear Friends,

Through what I can only call "phenomenal" caring and kindness on
your part, my wife Jill and son Nick left for Boston this morning.
A "very-very special person" donated first class airfare out and
back, and we raised just over $11,300. This will cover the 3 month
lodging costs ($3500 X 3 mos = $10,500); and this is the cheapest we
could find !!!!! I will send a "Thank You Card" to everyone who
participated - etiquette demands it. I am still awestruck by
tremendous thoughtfulness and caring by each and every one of
you...
