Title: Associate Network Administrator
Skills: Microsoft Win2k/Win2k3; WinXP; Office 2k and 2k3; TCP/IP networking;
IIS/Apache; Backup services (preferably BackupExec); Linux, Antivirus
server/client services; Windows VPNs; Intel/AMD based server, desktop and
laptop hardware; HP printers.
These skills are desirable but not required for the position:
Experience with Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP environments.
Experience with database administration in such environments as MSSQL, DB2,
MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Experience with other UNIX operating system (AIX, HP-UX, Solaris)
administration.
Role: Day to day support of local and remote end users on Windows Active
Domain based network; hardware and software implementation, administration and
support for end user and high demand IT and development hosts on Windows and
UNIX/Linux environments; backup service administration and support in a
BackupExec environment; support of TrendMicro client/server antivirus services;
troubleshooting network services and hardware, admin and support of network
printers; IT asset inventory control.
Position requires 24/7 on call emergency pager service on a weekly rotation.
Education: MCP, MCSA, MSCE, A+ and/or Network+ certifications or relevant
experience with i86 based hardware, TCP/IP networking and Windows 2k/XP/2k3
operating systems.
