hey everybody,
Here's my two paise thought on facebook.
1. All the social networking sites come with options of letting a person
see your friend list / photo or any other information or declining the
privelege. The choice is yours. Thankfully pallavi, admits having a page and
using these features. But i hope all know that any priovate photograph /
information that makes it to these forums have been shared by individuals to
some unreliable source or posted without considering the pros and cons of
being present on these sites.
2. It is easy not to fully consider two sides of the coin objectively and
form an opinion but it limits your own self as a person. I bet there are a
thousand applications and usages of social networking forums that would
benefit all of you who are against them. At the end of the day its a man's
creation, doesnt function by itself. its as good or bad as we make it to be
3. Having an opinion and working your life around it is one thing and
holding it against someone is another. You might be blocking yourself to a
large number of net savvy population with an opinion against them and what
they do as a choice
In terms of the article, yes it has wit and humour and would day uses
linguistic skills nicely. But what matters to me is the responsibility any
writer has while expressing himself. Like some expressions are to be altered
when in public, some opinions have to be toned down and revisited for
objectivity before posting them, so that you are sensitive to the person its
about ( which in this case a whole crowd of facebook users) and also the
subject. For the writer, please bring some modesty in your writing without
taking out the fun element as its possible to laugh with others rather than
laugh at them or at their expense...
guys, i am ready for my bouquets and brickbats ( which i think will be
more)..please post them here or write to me .
Thanks & regards,
