This is the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Caucus of the California Teachers Association. Membership in CTA/NEA is required. The Caucus meets quarterly at State Council as well as regional leadership conferences, and other state wide events. This Yahoo group is for diseminating information from the officers to the members. Should you wish to post to the site, the information will be reviewed. All initial invitations to join are from existing email lists of the Caucus. Future inquiries for membership must include your CTA membership # and Local Association affiliation information.

The Caucus exists to lobby Council on issues and endorse and elect officers for CTA elections as well as act as a forum for its members to connect on issues relating to our group. While recognized by CTA it is not an official part of the organization.
