mothers2mothers (m2m) is an international non-governmental organization based in Cape Town, South Africa. m2m is dedicated to providing education and support to pregnant women and mothers living with HIV, and preventing mother-to-child transmission. m2m empowers HIV-positive pregnant women and new mothers to become role models in their communities by promoting AIDS awareness, testing and services. m2m currently operates in 7 countries in Africa. m2m is aggressively working to expand their funding sources and continue to grow their development department. m2m seeks two qualified individuals to join their development team in the capacities of Chief Development Officer, located in the Cape Town office, and Manager, Individual Philanthropy Outreach, located in the Los Angeles office.

The Chief Development Officer will assist in continuing to build the development team and sharpen m2m's long-term fundraising strategy in collaboration with other members of m2m's leadership team. The CDO will implement a fundraising plan by identifying and helping develop necessary fundraising tools and resources to more effectively engage prospective donors. The individual selected will serve as m2m's first-ever Chief Development Officer managing a small team of newly-created positions aligned by key funding streams and will serve as a member of m2m's leadership team. A minimum of ten years successful fundraising experience and a bachelor's degree are required.
