It will be good (in all trainings -
whether for junior, middle or top level) to show how BCM is linked/ aligned
to and supports the Organisational Objectives.

[discussbusinesscontinuity] Induction
Hi
I'm looking at introducing an "e-learning" thing to bring new
entrants up to a basic understanding of BC and how we implement it.
My thoughts are about 20 minutes to complete - say 25 slides - with between
5 and 10 multiple choice questions.
If anyone has any ideas, advice, hysterical laughter or any other thoughts
I would appreciate them.

Ok, its an interesting concepts, but put more theory into your personal concepts. For example, whats your intention? Some pages are to long winded. Make sure when doing a presentation, short, sweet and to the point. Keep there attention.

Hello, my recommendation would be an adjunct to your self-produced powerpt
e-training. For severval years, my first step is to screen a 21 minute video
that has generated more positive feedback as to understanding BCM than any other
method. Not only is it done professionally, it engages viewers with just enough
entertainment. From Commonwealth Films Inc. it is a video called "Ready for
Anything". See: www.commonwealthfilms.com I have no connection, other than
being a satisfied customer. Good luck! J A Groves, CBCP

I am the risk manager and compliance officer with an
insurance company. We have drafted a BC plan for H1N1 (built on our
company BC/Disaster Recovery Plan).
If any of the members of the group from the financial services
sector would be interested in sharing their BC for H1N1 I would appreciate it.
Alternatively is anyone aware of a benchmarking or audit
tool that could be utilised to identify deficits and areas for improvement?
All responses will be acknowledged and appreciated.
