KEF is currently seeking a Lead Applications Systems Programmer to join its high
performing, award winning team. This position will enable Key Equipment Finance
Technology to deliver advanced and re-useable business technology solutions for
Key Equipment Finance Originations systems. The individual will be responsible
for interfacing with customers and developing solutions that adhere to technical
standards and principles. Additionally, the individual will independently
execute and deliver on assigned tasks as well as work on small to medium sized
projects of varying complexity.

Essential Skills
Utilize industry technologies to develop and enhance KEF Originations systems
(Java (J2EE); .Net; WebMethods; Websphere, Sybase, Sql Server).
Utilize subject matter experts to understand the LOB strategies and challenges
to become a trusted advisor in an effort to deliver streamlined and efficient
solutions.
Mentor and consult with team members to improve technical skills and develop
innovative solutions.
Develop and participate in Disaster Recovery testing for KEF Origination Systems
technologies.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Must be self managing and able to handle multiple priorities.
Position may require up to 25% travel.

Required Skills
2-4 years of web tier technologies (JSP, XML, SOAP, JavaScript; HTML).
2-4 years experience in Java or .Net; Experience in other languages (C, C++).
2 years experience in Enterprise application servers (WebSphere; Tomcat; IIS).
Demonstrated aptitude in DBMS (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle).
Ability to decompose technical solution into tasks and provide accurate
estimates.
Attention to detail; ability to excel in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to break down barriers and resolve issues.
Demonstrate an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, able to work in a highly collaborative
environment.

Preferred Skills
Experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Experience in application integration (WebMethods, Java Services)
Exposure to the financial services industry
