Angela,
I just wanted to know what you would like for me to do next week.  As far as I know, all of Leigh's paperwork is done with the exception of the IEP meeting for Fiesha Robinson.  So other than this, the only thing that I know of would be to see children for make-ups (if there are any needed).   I will be available next Tues and Wed as I said.  However, if there is nothing to be done, that will be fine also.  Just let me know.

Dr. Compton came by the speech room today and told us that we could
document (on the bottom of the last page) that the parent had been sent
a copy of the IEP. You can also call the parent to make them aware and
document that.  Leigh and I thought it might be difficult to contact
the parents, so, we developed a letter to send home with the students
along with the newly revised IEP. See the letter on the files page.

Once I verify the changes and fill out a new IEP via the internet, I
will post it with the additions that are now required. That way you
can print one out and just fill in the specifics for each child.

Leigh/Rochelle:

Two new students have been added to the roster.  They are both
Medicaid and need to be in therapy tomorrow. I will send an updated
roster to the center and I will post it here.  There names are Jaheim
Rowze and Jamarion Pearson.  Goals will be forwarded as well.

Talked with Leigh this morning, she and Teresa will be going to
Manuel Goff tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and seeing the Medicaid
students.  Then, Rochelle can resume with therapy when she is able
to return.  Teresa: Rochelle will let you know in plenty of time
about Thurday morning.  If she is not able to be there, call me.

I am sending this reminder because I am working on 2007/2008 IEPs for
Manuel Goff and I was making myself a note and thought I would share
with each of you.  Remember to change/update the IEP dates on the
roster that goes back to Kristy Kennett. I am so afraid of forgeting
this.  I know Leigh does this often, however, I don't do it as much!
The rosters when out today (or yesterday)....Thanks for letting me
share that tidbit!

Yes, she did and Frank printed some out yesterday...she took a stack
to Rochelle's and she will bring those to Quitman tomorrow.  Let us

I heard about a free service for obtaining phone numbers. It's 1-800-
FREE411. YOu are supposed to be able to call just like directory
assistance without the charges. They say you have to listen to a short
ad,then, obtain your number. I have not tried it, yet, but I will when
I need a number.
