The Take Control Career Networking Group at St. Paul Catholic Church has formed a partnership with Christ Church Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Memorial Church, Grace Community Church, St. Ambrose Catholic Church and First Christian Reformed Church in order to provide even more information, resources, support, and networking opportunities to those in a career transition. The new group will be called ETC . . . Eastside Take Control an Ecumenical Career Networking Group serving the eastside community. The three types of meetings are free of charge and open to the community. (1) One-on-One Coaching by appointment (2) Wednesday DIGGING DEEPER meetings are held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at First Christian Reformed Church (1444 Maryland Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). Explore emotional and spiritual issues related to job transition in a safe environment. (3)Weekly KITA-model support group consists of 5-7 members with the goal of supporting, motivating and holding each other accountable during the job search process. The group will meet 2 hours each week and each member is responsible for completing a matrix on their time spent in the job-search process. This group is for those serious in finding a job and many who have been part of KITA have had success.
