Featured photo: It was taken on Saturday 13th August, and shows HVLE V330 Blue Tiger V330.04 (251004) at Rübeland (Harz) Bahnhof. There's no regular service to Rübeland any longer, however a special service from Blankenburg (Harz) using steam up the 1:17 gradients of the Rübelandbahn operates on various weekends throughout the year. On Saturday 13th August the steam loco derailed in the works yard at Blankenburg and the HVLE loco was provided at short notice. Photo taken by Andy Pratt.
