MGB Today & RhB Tomorrow   Message List

Funny how everything seems to take longer in these days of
computerisation and automation. The last two nights they'd shut up
shop at Filisur before the workings were published, hence no advance
info for today and a special journey up to Bergün this evening to get
tomorrow's gen.

Spent today on the MGB just west of Disentis. All trains seen from
10:10 to 14:45 were loco hauled except a push-pull set with motor
baggage van 54 working empty stock into Disentis around 11:30.

101 worked an additional EB Glacier into Disentis at 14:00.
102 worked 828 and 903,
103 worked 834 and 849
104 worked 824, 839, 844
106 worked 835, 840, 859
107 worked 910
108 worked 843

Tomorrow's RhB highlights (or lack of?)

No Ge6/6II booked on passengers.

Ge4/4Is as follows

603 on 815, 818, 823, 826, 831, 834, 839, 842,
605 on 4109 and 1125 (Samedan-St. Mo only),
606 on Bergün - Preda shuttles,
609 on 1909, 1868, 1869, 1872, 848, 849, 853, 1940* 1941, 1952, 1953,
1964,
610 on 1903, 1914, 1861, 1864, 1865, 1920, 1917, 1928, 1929, 1940*, 856,
*610 works 1940 to Samedan where 609 takes over.

Ge4/4II on all Chur - Arosa & Disentis - Scuol trains, the Pontresina
- Scuol and Klosters Davos trains not mentioned above, and the usual
two Landquart - Davos - Filisur turns. Ge4/4III on the other three
Landquart - Davos - Filisur turns and all Chur - St. Mo trains.

Especially for Mr Reeves, 643 works 1120, 1129, 1144, 1153, 1168 so
it's a maximum 2 out of 4 unless someone deals the bonus ball and
pulls 701 off freight to cover an ailing Werbelok.
