Sorry this is a week old but i was busy with other items.
Spent a couple of days (Sat 3rd/Sun 4th Jan)in Holland on the way
back from new year in Dresden. Having taken a copy of the last
diagrams that were issued i ended up putting them away.
Firstly the Venlo - Den Haag CS services:-
At least 50% of these were in the hands of double deck units.
On the sunday there were some very strange workings. Hauled sets were
seen going to Den Haag but the returns diagrams produced units on at
least 3 of the trains.
Eindhoven - Schiphol services were virtually solid units with only
one hauled set on the saturday.
Spent a hour and a half between Amsterdam and Weesp viewing turns to
Leystad and Amersfoort with only a few 17xx being seen. The IC turns
Amsterdam - Amersfoort were single koploper sets.
Some of the Rotterdam CS - Amsterdam - Enkhuisen (via Breukelen)
produced 17xx on double deck rakes.
Amsterdam - Dordrecht/Breda were a mix of 17xx locos and 77xx units.
The Roosendaal - Arnhem is now extended to Zwolle and was a mixture
of double deck units and push/pull sets.
There did seem a consistent working with 17xx locos and that was the
Amsterdam - Zaandvoort service.
Tilburg works contained at least 16 new 66 variant diesels for Euro
Cargo Rail.
The lack of hauled trains on some services is probably down to the
fact that there is enough NS stock scattered around Koln and Dortmund
depots to form at least 3 rakes.
