Just picked up from the SwissRail group:

Following loads of failures (including one in the middle of the base
tunnel which tested evacuation procedures!) ETR470 have been banned
from the base tunnel.

Loco hauled push pull with Re460 have been drafted in (change of
trains needed at Domodossola).

The 460 appear to have been taken (at least in part) from the Geneve -
Brig circuit, which has the knock on effect of producing Re4/4II on
the latter. This is amusing as the Geneve - Brig service had already
'regressed' in the new timetable from push pull to traditional loco
hauled, now its gone another step back to the 1980s - yippee!
