The WINDOW command in Word's menu bar, covers how many word documents
you can see on the screen at once. Though you can do the same from
the desktop, the WINDOW commands let you have two or more documents
open at the same time so you can compare the two. it's great for
taking notes etc.
NEW WINDOW is just the same as hitting FILE NEW for all practical
reasons. ARRANGE ALL brings all the Word documents up at the same
time, so you can put read all of them at once. You can have them
layered across the page, or sitting side by side, it is a very
personal choice.
SPLIT let's you compare two parts of the same document. To remove the
split once you have finished, click on WINDOW=> REMOVE SPLIT.
