Business Computing Tips

By K&K Fainges kfainges@...

We covered adding a picture last week, so how about music?

Adding music to the page is a lot like adding a picture, same
copyright, same technique. But you can also add music to the background.

How? Well, if you are using an online webpage builder, there is
normally a button to push. The hard part is finding the music to
upload to your site.

Type, 'download music' into your browser and you will find a ton of
sites offering music, even for free. But be careful, the longer the
piece of music, the longer it will take to load. And remember to make
sure it's legal.

If you are using FrontPage or Dreamweaver, the process is a little
more difficult, but there are great sites for helping you learn how to
use those programs. for example
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=297477 for FrontPage. All I did was
type FrontPage load background music into a search engine. Try it out.

http://www.24help.info/showthread.php?t=2334 gives a great run down on
what the various types of files means for you.

Have fun with it
