The Google group is now up and running and all questions should be
posted there. We'll just have a little overlap since I'm out of the
office at the moment - but when I'm back at the end of the month, I'll
turn off posting to this group leaving the Google one as the sole FME
group.

So yes, I'd recommend you start to use the Google group now since that
will be the only choice in a couple of weeks...
