Re: Database Publishing w/ FM 5.5 under Windows

Hi Dirk and Framers:

If you received the same 5.5 package I did earlier this year, there was
a CD included called Solutions Sampler, which contained information on
at least two products that might be what you are looking for. One was
UniMerge from Refined Reports that "lets you use Framemaker to (produce
reports) containing information extracted from your database." Another
is Miramo from DataZone, which also involves database publishing in
Frame. I don't know anything about either of these products, but you
could check 'em out. Refined Reports is at reports@... (they're
in Reading MA) and Datazone is at dztools@... (they're in
London, U.K.).

Subject: Database Publishing w/ FM 5.5 under Windows

Hello,

what is the best way for database publishing w/ FM 5.5 under Windows 95?

I want to create FM documents with database entries out of a MS Access
database. Who knows a easy solution? Thanks in advance...

Greetings,

Dirk Hemke

We usually create MIF files from the database. You may want to try MML files, as the format is easier to understand, and then change to MIF later (if...
