WELCOME TO GEGen - The General Electric Gen GroupThis specialist Yahoo rail email group exists to allow members to share gen, report sightings and discuss rail topics relating specifically to the UK Based General Electric Locomotives. We welcome debate, questions or anything which helps to improve your enjoyment of the railway hobby. But since this is a GE Loco group the banter needs to be on topic for the maker.
If you're not already a group member, feel free to join us. The only conditions are that you're a railway enthusiast and are willing to share information, news, views and topics and do so in a polite manner.
Rather than have a photo of the month competition we just invite members to send in their images of Class 70s in action, to the gegen-owner e-mail please. They will be uploaded to the photo section and rotated around the homepage.
The current homepage image has been provided by Michael Davies and shows 70 001 with a late running 4R67, taken just North of Trimley 01/02/10.
