Description
GELocos is for locomotive historians, railfans and modelers interested in General Electric steam- or gas-turbine, straight-electric or diesel-electric locomotives. Postings about the history, disposition, development and modelling of GE locomotives, locomotive prime movers, or electrical systems, whether North American or other in their application, are most welcome.
This is an EMD-free zone. However, postings about locomotives constructed by GE, its subsidiaries or licensees (ie. EMC boxcabs, Fairbanks-Morse "Erie-builts"), or relying on GE electricals (ie., all Alco products) will be tolerated and encouraged.
If you plan on joining this group your Yahoo! profile MUST be up-to-date and have real information in it. Applications with blank profiles will be ignored. If you do not have a Yahoo! profile, you must include appropriate information to support your application in the comment line of the application process.
