This Yahoo group is dedicated to disussion of news and sources of information on the Huntsville and Lake of Bays Transportation Company. They operated steamships on the Muskoka lakes and the Huntsville and Lake of Bays Railway. It was claimed to be the "world's smallest commercial railway". It ran for 1 1/8 mile from South Portage on Lake of Bays to North Portage on Peninsula Lake from 1905 to 1959. This forum is also focussed on the current Hunstville and Lake of Bays Railway which operates original equipment on a new railway which operates on the banks of the river between Muskoka Heritage Place and Fairy Lake.
