This Group is promoted by "Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals"(IAEMP). Most of the members of IAEMP are Certified Energy Auditors and Energy Managers.We intend to work as the 'Conscience Keepers on Energy Matters.'

The Mission of IAEMP is to work for India's Energy Independence by 2022,the Platinum Jubilee year of our political independence.How it can be achieved is outlined in IAEMP Vision Document launched on 14th August 2007 at CPRI Bangalore.

IAEMP has its dedicated web site www.iaemp.org. We also have an exclusive yahoo group for Data Centres and Home Energy Management.

We are also bringing out a monthly e-magazine "The Urja Watch" which focuses mainly on issues related to the Energy Conservation Act,2001.
