Description

On 1/16/07, the US Supreme Court denied certiori for Cooper v IBM. This was the final appeal, so distribution of the base Cooper settlement of $320 million has begun. FAQ about Cooper v IBM: www.allianceibm.org/pensionlawsuitfaq.htm

On 08/03/06, Congress passed the Pension Protection Bill which legalized Cash Balance and PCF pensions.

From the executive viewpoint, does it matter what happens after 2015? The execs get their bonuses until then, and if the board ever holds them accountable
