Dear Sir/Madam:

I appreciate you taking the time to let me introduce my self. My
name is John Dunlap and I am a self-motivated safety professional
seeking a position as Safety Manager and have provided below a brief
summary of my qualifications and diversified background in
Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental.

My qualifications include but are not limited to facilities such as
aluminum, chemical, petrochemical, oil refinery, pharmaceutical,
nuclear power, fossil power plants, mining, process metal plants and
paper mill during construction phases from new construction, start
up, revamp/upgrades, shut downs, maintenance, and demolition.
Management responsibilities have included overseeing Subcontractors
safety programs, developing and implementing site-specific safety
manuals, employee handbooks, company work permits, site-specific
safety orientations, job safety analysis, safety committees,
behavioral observation techniques, incentive award programs,
managing medical department, supervision of staff employees and
numerous successful OSHA Inspections for both Union and non-Union
contractors.

In addition to the above, I have been actively involved with the
formulation of accident prevention policies, root cause
investigations safety training, implementation of corporate and
project safety regulations, coordinating safety issues between
subcontractors and working with management and supervision to
eliminate accidents and promote an injury free work site. My
involvement with worker compensation has led to reduction in
insurance premiums by preventing accidents and fraudulent claims.

My proficiency in Word Perfect, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS
Office, complement my qualifications.

Clients include but not limited to: Phillips, Exxon, Chevron/Texaco,
ALCOA Aluminum, Sunoco, Dupont, Essar, TVA, WKE, Coastal, Conoco,
Mobil, and others. Projects ranged from multimillion-dollar projects
to two billion dollar projects with a total of employees from 30 to
13,000 at one time.
