My career started with the Norfolk and Western Railway Company later
Norfolk Southern.
At the railroad I worked various jobs, starting as a member of a
Survey Crew in Indiana and Illinois, a Bridge Inspector in Ohio, an
assistant Bridge and Building Supervisor, Project Supervisor in
North Carolina and last a Track Supervisor in Virginia.

The next job was with the W.M. Brode Co. a railroad bridge and
general contractor in Ohio.
While with the Brode Co. I was a Regional Manager, Safety Director,
Manager Sales for the Bridge Division.  My duties were traveling all
over the country visiting Short Line Railroads introducing our
company's capabilities for bridge repairs and reconstruction when
the need arises.  Along with the sales pitch I would sometimes
inspect bridges and evaluate them for repairs and with the help of
the office staff, we would put together a budget program and costs.
The majority of these bridges were timber structures aging from 5 to
75 years old. Other duties I took care of were Conferences,
displaying the company's work repairing and building bridges, and
networking with clients and other vendors for job leads and finding.
Other times I would procure pricing of materials for bids and if we
were awarded the job I would write the requisitions and coordinate
the deliveries to job sites.
Currently CLECO Corp. Construction Company
I am a General Manager Over seeing four gangs cutting brush for
Norfolk Southern with
320 Cat. Excavators with brush cutter attachments and dozers in NE
Ohio and soon PA.

to say, the quality of work would be great and one would get an
