Job description
The successful candidate will lead and direct the NATO
International Staff Translation Service comprising
some 80 staff, managing teams of francophone and
Anglophone translators, a Terminology and
Documentation Unit, a Support Unit and a Typing
Section. He/she will continually review the need for
change and development of the Service and make
recommendations for the implementation of
improvements. He/she should have experience in a
senior role of planning and implementing change in the
development of translation services.

Applicants must: - be a national of a NATO Member
State; - be of English or French mother tongue, with
an outstanding knowledge of the other official
language; - have many years' experience as a
translator-reviser; - have excellent managerial and
supervisory experience; - have a very good knowledge
of computer aids; - have the qualities required to
lead, manage and motivate staff.

"A.NET.37(2005)" reference shown on Internet.

Only those candidates who meet the specific
requirements and whose applications pass the initial

Job description
The successful candidate will lead and direct the NATO
International Staff Translation Service comprising
some 80 staff, managing teams of francophone and
Anglophone translators, a Terminology and
Documentation Unit, a Support Unit and a Typing
Section. He/she will continually review the need for
change and development of the Service and make
recommendations for the implementation of
improvements. He/she should have experience in a
senior role of planning and implementing change in the
development of translation services.

Applicants must: - be a national of a NATO Member
State; - be of English or French mother tongue, with
an outstanding knowledge of the other official
language; - have many years' experience as a
translator-reviser; - have excellent managerial and
supervisory experience; - have a very good knowledge
of computer aids; - have the qualities required to
lead, manage and motivate staff.
