Hi David
We have done the same and have used the standard Sierra thrust bearing. You

Can I ask in what way will the engine be "blueprinted" and from where do you get the data needed (tolerances, I guess). Malcolm ... From: "David Jenkins"...

Ok, Malcolm, I admit to wrong terminology! :-) What I meant to say is, I will be rebuilding the engine to be back to proper tolerances and fits, taking out...

Sounds good. When you say the engine is rated to 8000 rpm, can I ask how this rating was determined? Malcolm ... From: "roger molyneux"...

Hi Malcolm I also refrain from using the word blueprinting, something that people seem to do when ever they do up an engine. I read a book on Blueprinting...

Malcolm The people who did the engines for us are the same people who do up Kent engines for the oval track boys and some of the racing boys here in Cape Town....
