Dear Members,

It is indeed very saddening that the image of our profession in the public eye
has been tarnished in such a way. The alphabet of TRUST is today being quoted as
"MISTRUST".The only way to reprieve some collateral damage done is to book the
culprits involved in this fiasco from our profession at the earliest by the
disciplinary committee (but not like proceedings in the GTB Scam which i
personally feel is gathering dust).

Today is the time when each member of our profession should join hands & demand
that appointment of statutory auditors or branch auditors of all private sector
banks also be done by the RBI where huge public interest is involved.
