Re: Does anyone remember my father?

Hi Brandie, In reference to your father, John, Ray Salak and I worked with him
in
Yellowknife NWT. We were hauling research camp out of Cape Allison not too far
from the
North Pole. Ofcourse, John was the life of the party in town. Always very lively
and
instegating some kind of shenanigans. I was scheduled to go to Australia with
his project
as well, but it was later cancelled. Back home in Fairbanks, he always came down
and
played volleyball with Fred Coleman, a bunch of the others and I... we enjoyed
all the
games. And by the way, I think Terry Reece was with us in Yellowknife for some
of that
trip. On our departure, is when Ray experienced his first mild heart attack
(unknown to
him). Other than that, we had a great time. I was just a mechanic/inspector at
the time.
Was later promoted to the Director of Maintenance.
