Re: [MarkAir] Hello from Brian McNerlin (Flt. Ops)

Brian--I think i remember you, but refresh my memory...I remember 2 girls. I am having a senior moment right now and one of the girls lived out in the valley by me, and the other one was kinda young and short. i worked in scheduling(across the window) with jeannie mcgee and dave anderson and the red head (caroline)and ron donathon and a few others.  started in march of 1992 and was with them until about a month before their demise...Went to denver with them and then back to anchorage and then decieded enough was enough and left them about 1 month before they closed the doors.

Hello to all former MarkAir employees! Just came across the site,
recognized a few names and thought I'd say hello. Don't know if
anyone remembers us "grunts" stuck in that windowless room
called "Flight Operations and Dispatch" but I was one of the guys who
had the fun of doing all those weight and balances in time for that
crazy 7:00 am push! Worked there from about 1990-1993 and for some
reason the ramp guys and gate agents took to calling me "Ops Man" on
the radio! Ring any bells?

Working at MarkAir was one of the better times in my life, full of
great adventure and good people. I still miss taking that early a.m.
flight to Kodiak with Roger Kunz and then hopping a Caravan to Karluk
to slay those fresh kings in late May (thanks for the tip Kris Paul!).

Speaking of Kris, anyone know where he is, or for that matter, Mike
Maroney, Harry Lacy, Wayne Kosher, etc? How about the flight
attendents...Bridgette, Darcy, Avis Meyer, etc?

Hope this finds you all well and that a few of you remember us
nameless, faceless guys stuck in that little room. And just for old
times... "MarkAir Flt. 21, this is Ops Man and I have your changes."

Best regards,

Brian McNerlin
