I am more a CPO futures speculator than FKLI....
I make considerable lossess in FKLI this month. I just wondering most
of us here are position trading or intra day trading for FKLI???

It seems to me it is difficult to catch the movement of the fund
managers. second liners may move up but index link stock are not
moving at times.....

I use chart to trade. but : ( so far for FKLI....

Any one here trade FCPO???? what do u think of the recent sharp
drop???

Why don't you try Moving Average Crossover may be 3 & 7 day range.
Once you set up, you may start to see the pattern. But don't forget
the intra day movement may affect your decision.

looks like the fund manager is supporting the Futures price with
their BUY contract.Once the 712.0 resistance level has been
broken. It now offers a very strong support level with the KLCI also
rebounding from 705.0.MArket looks likely to close above 710.0 with
support from local institutions. This means Futures price will be
supported as well. Its tracking the market 'coz of the JULY futures
expiring next week.So if you want to trade with a LONG medium term
outlook,August contract offer you less risk.

Yes...because they offer your real time price. If you want to trade
Futures you got to get the real time price. It's worth to open an
account and trade with them.So far only OSK offer real time for
Futures price at the moment without you having to refresh to get the
price movement.

You are right... take a breather. I need to learn how to do that. Are

if you put all emotion aside and look at the chart,it's clear the
Futures has make a u-turn for the short-term.Only short if 712.0
level is broken.IF you are unsure what to do...STAY ASIDE!It's
better to trade another time then to have sleepless nite after you
execute a trade.

Off the monitor and go for a walk.Come back and trade again next
time.MArket will always be there. So even if you have made a loss, you
can always get it back as long as your capital is still intact.

If you are looking for charts I suggest you look at OSK188 but you
have to sign up first. They use Metastock chart for futures. But the
analysis I find them to be lousy. Most of the time The analysis are
posted very very late - about 11-12 pm. Sometimes none for a few
days. I'd like to be their analyst bcos I can wait for the market
then write the analysis! Wonder how much they get paid. Most the time
you'd miss the price they recommend. Good job lah at OSK. I have
commented but no one is looking.

So do not wait for them. Look at the charts and decide on your own.

My August Contract:
Darn, I just close my position at selling 714, but not it's at
716.5 .... total lost of 12 points ( Long at 726)

Lesson learnt (EXPENSIVE):

- Cut loss firm!
- Take profit firm!
- Trade like robot, without emotion

Look at the KLCI now, do you think it could reach 710 by this
evening ??

Candle Stick Analysis:

21st JUL shows that it is an "Engulfing Bear", I was too ignorant to
ignore this signal , now got burnt :(

I made up my mind to now stick to what the charts tell me and always
have a stop. What to do ,learned very late but still breathing . So
there is still hope. Most of the time we should never disregard the
intra day movement. One thing I hv learned is: if the chart tell you
to short , wait for it to go up first instead of jumping in at
opening and vice versa. This normally the trap for small timers like
me!

Now July is at 710 may be good time to short again.

I long at 721 days ago.. just yesterday my agent advise me to cut
lost.. so cut lost at 711.3.
Did not short back.. should have though.
Now it is back up to 711 level.. and futures has a premium.. very
confused... short might be risky.

According to the report from djones they are conducting a test on a
girl who has just return from China and have all the SARS
symptoms. The test result will be out in the afternoon.

If this is true, you know what will happen to the market which is
already vulnerable.SO could be a good opportunity to go SHORT.

I will try to short today July at 712. To me the candle stick still
showing further decline. But I will buy back at 705. So far I hv been
unlucky with futures.

Hope to be correct.

Hi,

Please let me start first,
I'm holding an August Long Contract at 726.0.
Market today is 713.0 , so paper lost is VERY severe, anyone still
holding Long position in July or August ?

My gut feeling tells me that overall market still bullish, but market
sentiment is still very volatile. Just look at our KLCI today , July
contract also traded under discount!

What do you think ?

Let's share.
