Description

A mailing list for individuals and small mill business owners to discuss the many facets of milling wood (converting a tree into lumber). This forum's goal is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences, problems, and techniques involved in milling wood. While specific brands of tools related to milling can be freely discussed here (e.g., Wood-Mizer bandsaw mill, Alaskan Mill, Beam Machine, Lucas, Ripsaw, Haddon, Logosol, etc), this group does not represent any one manufacturer. Professionals are welcome, but should understand this group will consist mainly of individuals who are milling for personal use, or are starting a small milling business.
