The Feb. meeting is on the 16 th of this month in the RB&C community
room. Please try to attend.
The meeting was called to order and the minutes Of December 19, 2009
was reviewed and accepted.
January Minutes
1. It was decided by the group that we would not do our own African
American History Month program since the Employee diversity committee
has a month long program planned.
2. Our energies should be focusing on bring our organization into a
viable functioning unit.
3. The Coordinating positions are as follows:
A. Recruitment/Poster &Display Coordinator===Betty Bolden
1. Yvette Walker
B. Meeting Agenda/Conference Coordinator=====Barby Smith
C. Publication Coordinator===================Linda Young

D. Cultural Information Coordinator==========Joanne Puryear
4 Changes will be forwarded to the NCC to be placed in the Nursing
Practice Manual.
5. We need members to join one of the four groups. Please contact
the C0ordinator of the group you wish to join.
6. Coordinators will be given a list of the council members.
This will allow them the ability to recruit members
7. We need a co-chair for the council. Our last position to fill
8. Joanne Puryear also is on the Nursing Coordinating
Council.
