Description

To share and discuss information about the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway. The forum is open to discuss the railway from its first beginnings to the present as a part of the Union Pacific (CNW). Our files are a database and source for information for those who wish to preserve this unique midwest railway. We welcome all prototype and model railroad interests. According to Edson (attached, full document found in group files) the FT's & F2's were renumbered into the 500's. They were rebuilt into GP9M in three batches

They did renumber them. I remember seeing the renumbered units. I always wondered why the 147 got the 500,550,501 numbering when logically it should have been
