A trip to our local Arts in the Park event today reminded me of an art source
some may be interested in. Displaying there was John Cartwright of Shoreview,
MN. He does pen-and-ink renderings of depots and towers all over the Midwest.
These include a number of M&StL, CNW and CGW, RI, Soo, etc., facilities. For
instance, M&StL include Chaska, Excelsior (old & new), Gibbon, Hanley Falls, New
Prague, Palmer, St. Louis Park and Glen Lake (MN). Prints are $20.00 each, and
the ones I've seen are nice. You can see them yourself at www.ArtRail.com.

Lenny believe it or not, I don't have that book. If the depots Dustin seeks
are in the book, and it is still available from the
CNWHS, I suggest he purchase a copy. I have photocopies of a lot of those
sketches I made at the National Archives.
