Nashua After-Hours Networking (NAHN) is a networking group based in Nashua, New Hampshire. We meet in the evenings, once monthly. We typically meet at 6:30 PM on the Third Tuesday of the month at the Peddler's Daughter on Main Street in Nashua. Just come on in and ask for the networking group.
NAHN is an informal group, devoted to building the connections that help people find work. Our foundation principles are:
1. The best time to develop your network is when you are employed and not desperate
2. You never know whose "coworker's neighbor's poker buddy" is that one person you need to meet; don't ignore a contact simply because they're not in the "right" industry or profession
3. If you want people to help you, you need to help them; in networking, truly, what goes around, comes around
4. Lastly, having a network requires active care; stay in occasional touch with everyone, share information or articles to keep you in the back of peoples' minds – someone may know of a perfect opening and be willing to help you get that inside referral
Whether you are unemployed OR employed, please consider attending. Send me an email (nahnhost@yahoo.com).
