The objective of the NEW North Small Business & Entrepreneurial Council / Forum is to involve and engage New North small businesses and entrepreneurs to promote regional cooperation and economic development while connecting entities of the New North. The New North is an 18 county region in Northeast Wisconsin, as well as the regional economic development corporation formed to further the region's interests. The counties of the NEW North are Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Waupaca, Brown, Shawano, Oconto, Marinette, Door, Kewaunee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Florence, Menominee, and Waushara.

The NEW North Small Business & Entrepreneurial Council / Forum consists of any and all interested small business people and/or entrepreneurs in the New North. Meetings open to the entire Council / Forum will be held quarterly in March, June, September, and December at convenient locations. Forum members may serve on subcommittees, which currently number five: Attraction, Retention, Professional Development, Communications, and Leverage.

The NEW North Small Business & Entrepreneurial Council / Forum Executve Committee is comprised of 12-15 members: the Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Sub-Committee Chairs, and 4-7 "At Large" members. The Executive Committee meets in the months that the full Council / Forum does not meet. The Chair of the Council / Forum also serves on the NEW North Board of Directors.
